Reverse description A large, finely detailed bunch of grapes occupies the central field, rendered with individual pellet-form berries clustered in a naturalistic arrangement and flanked by vine tendrils and leaves. The composition is contained within a linear border, reflecting the Dionysiac iconographic programme consistent with Naxos as a city closely associated with the cult of Dionysos. The field is otherwise unadorned, and no inscription is present on this side.
