| Obverse description | Laureate and bearded male head facing right, rendered in archaic Sicilian style with finely engraved flowing beard and hair beneath the laurel wreath. The portrait displays strong relief with carefully articulated facial features characteristic of late 5th-century BC Sikel coinage. A dotted border encircles the design. The partial legend ΑΒΑΚ appears in the right field, identifying the issuing community of Abakainon. |

| Reverse description | A boar standing to left with head raised, depicted in vigorous profile with naturalistic rendering of the animal's muscular body and bristled back. An olive leaf or branch appears beneath the boar in the lower field, serving as a secondary type symbol. The divided ethnic legend ΑΙ ΝΟΝ is distributed in the upper field, completing the inscription ΑΒΑΚΑΙΝΟΝ identifying the mint city. A dotted border frames the entire composition. |
