Obverse description Draped head of a nymph facing left, her hair rendered in fine wavy locks and gathered at the back, adorned with a triple-pendant earring and a beaded necklace. The portrait is executed in the refined Sicilian style of the early fourth century BC, with delicate facial features and naturalistic hair treatment. A dotted border frames the design. A small Punic character appears in the lower field before the face.

Reverse description A river god depicted standing to the left, rendered in the Siculopunic artistic tradition characteristic of western Sicilian coinage of the early fourth century BC. The design is set within a plain border on an irregular flan typical of small hammered silver coinage of this period.
