Obverse description A seated allegorical female figure wearing a mural crown, extending a laurel branch in her right hand while resting her left arm on a fasces surmounted by a spear tip; a round shield bearing the Swiss cross leans against the fasces at her side. The legend curves around the upper field, with the place name and date in the exergue. The engraver's signature A. BOVY appears in small relief to the lower right of the figure.
