Reverse description Crude hammered field bearing the royal titulature of Shah Isma'il I in Arabic script, arranged in multiple lines across the flan. The legend proclaims his full honorific titles and dynastic affiliations, including his Safavid and Husayni lineage, with a concluding invocation for the perpetuation of his reign. As is characteristic of this issue, the irregular flan results in much of the legend being struck off-flan or only partially visible, and the execution is notably rough and provincial in style.
