Obverse description Typical larin form consisting of a thin silver wire rod bent or coiled upon itself. Although some specimens of this type are reported to bear a partial Arabic inscription in the field, no legible legend, device, or mint mark is discernible on the present example. The surface shows characteristic hammered texture with natural toning consistent with age and circulation.
