| Obverse description | At centre, the post-1990 Bibendum (Michelin Man) mascot is rendered in dark red outline against a multicoloured guilloche underprint in pale lilac, yellow, and green. A large intaglio-style numeral '0' occupies the left field, set above the European Union flag stars and a series code, with the 'EURO SOUVENIR' legend printed in the lower-left corner. The Michelin and L'Aventure MICHELIN logotypes appear along the lower margin, accompanied by a facsimile signature of R. Faille, C.E.O., and a serial number in the lower-right corner. |

| Reverse description | Six iconic European architectural landmarks are arranged in a panoramic vignette across the note: Berlin's Brandenburg Gate, Lisbon's Torre de Belém, Paris's Eiffel Tower, Rome's Colosseum, Barcelona's Sagrada Família, and Brussels' Manneken-Pis, all set against a fine guilloche underprint. A reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa appears at the right of the composition. Printer and country-of-manufacture inscriptions are placed along the lower margin. |

The "0 euro" souvenir note program, formalized around 2015 and distributed through tourist sites across Europe, occupies a curious commercial niche — legal-tender-adjacent in appearance but issued with no redemption value whatsoever. This example, produced for the Musée de l'Aventure Michelin in Clermont-Ferrand, was printed by Oberthur Fiduciaire on genuine banknote paper to ECB dimensional and security specifications, which is precisely why the series feels convincing in hand.
Michelin's museum opened in 2009, built into a former tire factory. The R. Faille signature is a recurring credit across multiple 0 euro issues from this period rather than a named executive of any issuing monetary authority.
