| Obverse description | The entire field is occupied by a multi-line Arabic-script tughra inscription in bold, deeply struck calligraphic style, naming Sultan Mustafa son of Mehmed with the regnal prayer 'may his possession last.' Below a horizontal dividing line, the mint name Edirne (Adrianople) and the Hijri accession year 1106 are recorded. The legends fill the flan with characteristic Ottoman hammered-coin density, leaving virtually no open field. The coin is enclosed by a rope or cable border running along the full circumference. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is entirely covered by a dense, multi-line Arabic calligraphic inscription executed in the bold Ottoman hammered style. The text proclaims the imperial titulature of Sultan Mustafa II: 'Sultan of the two lands, emperor of the two seas, the Sultan son of the Sultan,' a standard formula asserting sovereignty over both the European and Asian domains. The legends are arranged in four to five horizontal registers filling the entire flan, with letter strokes of varying weight creating a rich relief surface. A rope or cable border identical to the obverse encircles the inscription. |
