Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Cyrillic inscription arranged horizontally across the flan, occupying the entire field without a border, characteristic of Russian wire kopecks of the early 17th century. The legend, struck from a hand-engraved die, names the Tsar and his titles in abbreviated form spread across several lines. The strike is uneven due to the hammered technique, with portions of the legend weakly impressed at the irregular edges of the flan.
