Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Cyrillic inscription in raised relief, arranged in horizontal rows across the oval field, reading the full titular legend of Tsar Pyotr Alexeyevich. The blocky, archaic Cyrillic letterforms are characteristic of early 18th-century Muscovite die-cutting, with individual letters boldly struck in the hammered wire-money tradition. The legend identifies the ruler as Tsar and Grand Prince Pyotr Alexeyevich of all Rus. Due to the restricted size of the flan, the inscription is typically abbreviated and may appear incomplete around the periphery. The plain, unbordered field and irregular coin outline are consistent with the wire money (проволочная) coinage type produced at the Old Mint in Moscow.
