| Reverse description | A multi-line Cyrillic legend fills the entire reverse field, reading «ЦАРЬ И ВЕЛИКИЙ КНЯЗЬ ИОАНН АЛЕКСЕЕВИЧ ВСЕЯ РУСИ», translating as 'Tsar and Grand Prince Ioann Alexeyevich of all Rus'. The inscription is arranged in abbreviated horizontal lines across the small, irregular flan, as was standard practice for Russian wire money of this period. The lettering is deeply struck but compressed, with portions frequently truncated at the flan edges. No border or decorative elements frame the legend. |
