Reverse description A multi-line Cyrillic inscription filling the entire field of this irregularly shaped flan, reading the Tsar's full title in abbreviated form across five to six lines. The legend identifies the ruler as Tsar and Grand Prince Peter Alexeyevich of All Russia, rendered in the archaic Cyrillic orthography typical of late Muscovite wire kopecks. The lettering is deeply struck in relief against a flat, unadorned field with no border or decorative framing.
