| Reverse description | Multi-line Cyrillic inscription filling the entire field, conveying the full imperial titulature of Peter I. The legend reads «ЦРЬ И ВЕЛИКIИ КНЯЗЬ ПЕТРЪ АЛЕКСЕЕВИЧЬ ВСЕЯ РОССIИ», translating as 'Tsar and Grand Prince Pyotr Alexeyevich of all Rus'. As is typical of wire money of this type, the inscription is compressed and irregularly distributed across the small oval flan, with letters often partially off-flan due to the limitations of the hammered production technique. There is no border or decorative framing element. |
