| Obverse description | Central device depicts a mounted horseman, representing the Tsar, riding a galloping horse to the right and brandishing a spear in the raised right hand, rendered in the traditional Russian wire money (chekanka) style. The figure is shown in profile with the horse in full stride. Beneath the horse's hooves appears the date inscription in Church Slavonic numerals. The flan is characteristic of the period — irregular and roughly oval in shape, as produced from flattened silver wire blanks. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is entirely occupied by a multi-line Cyrillic titulature legend in Church Slavonic script, reading across the irregular flan in compressed rows. The inscription names Tsar Peter Alekseevich as Autocrat of All Russia, a standard titulary formula used on Russian wire kopecks of the period. The lettering is bold and deeply struck but irregularly distributed across the flan surface, consistent with the hammered wire-money production technique. No decorative border or inner circle is present; the legend fills the entire available field. |
