The lettering is struck in raised relief from hand-engraved dies, with the Cyrillic characters showing the angular, abbreviated style typical of early 18th-century Muscovite mint practice. The flan edges are ragged and uneven, a natural consequence of the wire-cutting production method. No border or decorative framing is present, the inscription filling the available planchet space.
