Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Cyrillic legend filling the entire field, arranged in six lines across the irregular flan, reading 'Царь и Великий Князь Петр Алексеевич всея России' (Tsar and Grand Prince Pyotr Alexeyevich of all Rus). The inscription is characteristic of wire money kopecks of Peter I, rendered in the bold, archaic Cyrillic lettering typical of the period. The flat, unstruck areas of the flan are visible at the periphery due to the small die size relative to the planchet. No border or decorative frame surrounds the legend. This reverse type continued a long-established tradition of titulary inscriptions on Russian wire money.
