| Reverse description | The reverse carries a multi-line Cyrillic inscription distributed across the flat, irregular silver flan in the compressed, boldly struck letterforms characteristic of Russian wire money (cheshuykas) of the late Muscovite period. The abbreviated titulature of Peter I reads 'ЦРЬ ПЕТРЪ АЛЕКСЕЕВИЧЬ' (Tsar Peter Alexeyevich), arranged in horizontal registers filling the available flan space, with 'ЦРЬ' in the upper register, 'ПТР' centrally, and further abbreviated characters below. There is no border or decorative framing element; the inscription alone occupies the entire reverse field. The style is consistent with Kadashevsky Mint production immediately prior to Peter I's comprehensive monetary reform of 1704–1718. |
