(Translation: 1703)
Reverse description Multi-line Cyrillic inscription occupying the entire field of the irregular flan, rendered in the angular, bold letterforms typical of early Petrine wire money. The legend reads 'Царь Петр Алексеевич' (Tsar Peter Alexeyevich), distributed across several lines as dictated by the shape of the planchet. The lettering is deeply struck and characteristic of the Moscow mint's wire kopeck production of this period.
