| Obverse description | Obverse of this wire money (cheshuyка) depicts a mounted horseman in profile facing right, rendered in the archaic hammered style characteristic of late Muscovite coinage. The rider, representing the Tsar, is shown on horseback brandishing a lance or spear, a long-established iconographic motif on Russian kopecks.
