Reverse description The entire reverse field is occupied by a six-line Cyrillic inscription in the archaic Muscovite script style, reading the full imperial titulature of Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich. The lettering is bold and slightly irregular due to the hand-hammered wire coin technique, with characters showing the characteristic angularity of early 17th-century Russian epigraphy. The inscription fills the available flan space without a surrounding border, consistent with wire kopecks of the first Romanov tsar.
