Reverse description A spread eagle with head turned left occupies the center of the field, its body covered by a grid of sixteen German state coats of arms in relief. On the eagle's chest is a circular cartouche bearing the Staatliche Münze Baden-Württemberg mint mark and legend. A circular legend reads 'DEUTSCHLAND EINIGKEIT UND RECHT UND FREIHEIT' around the border against a mirror-polished field.
