Reverse description A short, bold cross with equal arms is depicted at the centre of the field, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The arms of the cross extend toward the inner circle, dividing the field into four quadrants, each plain. A circular legend in Gothic uncial lettering surrounds the beaded circle, reading IN NOMINE DOMINI, the traditional invocation found on medieval Danish sterling coinage. The surface exhibits characteristic porosity and roughness consistent with a hammered copper flan of this era.
