| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the Shahada in multiple lines of bold Kufic-Naskhi Arabic script, reading 'La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad rasul Allah' (There is no god but God, Muhammad is the messenger of God). The inscription is contained within a raised inner circle, itself enclosed by a plain linear border and an outer marginal legend band. The hammered flan exhibits typical broad, slightly irregular edges characteristic of Khwarezmian copper coinage of this period. The die workmanship reflects the large broad-flan format favoured under Sultan Ala ud-Din Muhammad II. |

| Reverse description | Central field bearing multi-line Arabic inscription in Kufic-Naskhi script, likely containing the ruler's name and titles — 'Sultan Ala ud-Din Muhammad' — along with possible Abbasid Caliph acknowledgement or mint/date formula, all enclosed within a raised inner circle. A marginal legend runs along the outer border band, partially legible due to wear and flan irregularity. The broad, hammered flan shows characteristic surface patination consistent with copper coinage of the Khwarezmian Empire under Muhammad II. |
