Reverse description A displayed eagle with head turned left dominates the field, flanked by three heraldic shields: at lower left a lion rampant (Cologne or Rhineland), at lower right a bear rampant (Berlin), and centrally at the base an eagle shield (Frankfurt or Prussian reference). The legend arcs along the upper rim, and the date 1963 appears in the exergue, separated by the central shield.
