| Obverse description | Highly stylized and schematized bull depicted facing left, rendered in the degenerate Indo-Sassanian artistic tradition. The Nagari inscription 'sri sama' appears above the bull figure in the upper field. The design is boldly struck in low relief on an irregular flan, with the motifs showing considerable abstraction typical of late Ghaznavid copper coinage. |
