| Obverse description | Stylized humped bull (zebu) depicted in profile occupying the lower portion of the field, rendered in a schematic, highly abstracted manner characteristic of late Shahi coinage. Above the bull, a Devanagari legend reading 'Sri Samanta Deva' is prominently placed across the upper field. The devices are boldly struck, with the Devanagari inscription exhibiting notably clear definition relative to the type. The flan is irregular and slightly rough at the edges, consistent with hand-hammered production of the period. |
