Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic religious inscription filling the central field, reading 'Allah la ilah illa Allah Muhammad Rasul' (God, there is no god but God, Muhammad is the Messenger), with the name 'al-Nasir' appearing as a caliph's laqab. The text is rendered in an angular, somewhat archaic Kufic-influenced script arranged in horizontal lines across the coin's face. A plain or lightly dotted border frames the inscription. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, as is typical of hammered billon issues of the Khwarezmian period.
