Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Persian or Arabic inscription in a cursive script, distributed across the entire field of the flan without a defined border, consistent with the hammered jital coinage tradition of the Khwarezmian Empire. The legends, though partially obscured by patination and surface wear, reference the ruler's title and mint attribution to Baluqan. The inscription is rendered in a bold, somewhat informal hand typical of base-metal struck issues of this period. Green cuprous patina covers portions of the surface, consistent with the billon alloy composition.
