| Obverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in Kufic-influenced script, arranged within a dotted circular border typical of Khwarezmian copper coinage of the early 13th century. The inscription occupies the majority of the flan, with individual words stacked vertically in the field. The die is slightly off-centre as is characteristic of hammered issues of this period, resulting in partial legend visibility at the edges. The surface exhibits a dark brown patina consistent with aged copper alloy. |
