Reverse description Reverse field bearing a three-line Arabic inscription in Naskh script reading 'as-sultan / al-a'zam Muhammad / bin sultan', proclaiming the ruler's title as 'the Greatest Sultan Muhammad, son of the Sultan'. The legend occupies the central field of the flan, characteristic of Khwarezmian jital coinage. The surface is heavily patinated with areas of encrustation, and the irregular flan edges show typical characteristics of hand-hammered production. No border or marginal legend is discernible.
