Reverse description Seven beaded medallions arranged in a circular composition, linked by laurel and oak branches, each containing a portrait bust of a distinguished Belgian or Flemish physician or anatomist with their name and birth year. A central oval medallion bears the inscription recording the installation date and the name of the Minister of the Interior. The legend ACADÉMIE ROYALE DE MÉDECINE DE BELGIQUE runs along the lower rim.
