| Obverse description | Irregular, roughly square copper flan bearing multiple punch-marked symbols applied in the characteristic Mauryan fashion. The field displays several distinct punched devices including what appear to be symbols of solar, geometric, and symbolic character, each impressed independently across the surface of the coin. The punches are deeply and boldly struck, creating raised relief impressions on the irregular flan.
