| Reverse description | The reverse is divided into three panoramic vignettes separated by tall trees, depicting the Colosseum in Rome at left, the cliff and coastline of Monaco at center, and the bay of Cannes at right, with the city names ROME, MONACO, and CANNES inscribed above each scene. A lower register shows a locomotive and train in motion along the coastal railway. A four-line inscription in the exergue commemorates the inauguration of the new rapid rail link, with the engraver's signature TON.SZIRMAI visible in the lower right field. |
