| Obverse description | Central field features the crowned arms of Zeeland: a shield divided horizontally, displaying a rampant lion over barry wavy lines representing the sea, surmounted by an ornate crown adorned with acanthus scrolls and a rose finial. The date is placed in two groups flanking the shield (e.g. 16–87). The circumferential legend reads clockwise in Latin capitals, separated by rosette stops. |
