Obverse description Entirely anepigraphic field with no decorative motifs, inscriptions, or design elements. The surface presents a broad, fan-shaped blade widening toward the upper edge, tapering into a narrow cylindrical handle at the base, faithfully replicating the form of an Andean tumi or hoe implement. The metal exhibits a characteristic arsenical copper patina with mottled green and brown oxidation consistent with burial in coastal Peruvian soil. The piece was produced as a standardized exchange object rather than a struck coin, with both faces left plain.
