| Reverse description | A horse or equine figure prancing to the right dominates the central field, executed in the abstracted Celtic style characteristic of Boian coinage. A human or divine figure, possibly a rider or attendant, appears to the right of the horse in schematic form. Pellets and curvilinear decorative elements are scattered throughout the field, including a row of pellets along the left margin and further ornamental motifs below the horse. The reverse is unlettered and relies entirely on its symbolic imagery. The composition reflects the progressive stylistic abstraction of the Macedonian stater prototype as transmitted through Celtic artistic tradition. |
