Obverse description Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in bold relief with characteristic flowing beard and wavy hair partially visible beneath the laurel wreath. The portrait displays the dignified, mature effigy typical of Achaean League civic bronzes of the late Hellenistic period. The broad flan bears traces of a partial Greek legend in the left field. The modeling of the facial features is strong, with a prominent brow and well-defined jaw, consistent with the artistic conventions of Peloponnesian workshop production.
