Reverse description A rose with a single bud to the left, the civic emblem of Rhodes, occupies the central field, flanked by the letters Ρ and Ο on either side. The magistrate's name ΑΡΧΙΝΟΣ is inscribed above in Greek characters, while a palm branch appears in the lower right field as a secondary symbol. The entire design is contained within a shallow square incuse, a characteristic feature of Rhodian gold hemistaters of this emission.
