| Obverse description | Geometric design in shallow relief depicting a round shield-like motif subdivided by two broad diagonal bands crossing at the center, forming four triangular segments arranged symmetrically around the field. A small pellet or boss is visible at the center of each triangular compartment, lending the composition a cruciform character. The design is contained within an irregular circular flan typical of archaic electrum coinage, with no inscription or legend present. The surface shows the characteristic uneven texture of hammered electrum production from the early archaic period. |
