Obverse description Draped bust of Aphrodite Paphia in right profile, the goddess depicted with idealised Hellenistic features and wearing a stephane (diadem crown) atop her hair. The portrait is rendered in the refined engraving style characteristic of early Ptolemaic bronze coinage. The flan is irregular and the surface heavily patinated, consistent with the hammered manufacture of the period. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse field.
