Obverse description Bare head of Poseidon facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic style with long, flowing hair bound by a tainia. The locks cascade outward from the crown and fall along the neck in thick, wavy strands characteristic of divine portraiture of the period. The features are boldly modelled, with a prominent brow and strong jaw. No legend appears in the field.
