Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing left, rendered in the late Hellenistic style characteristic of Massalian civic coinage. The hair is depicted in thick, wavy locks pulled back from the forehead and bound by a laurel wreath. The facial features, though worn, retain a classical profile with a prominent nose and defined chin. Control letters or magistrate marks appear in the field to the right of the effigy.
