Obverse description Janiform head rendered in archaic Greek style, depicting two jugate male heads shown in profile facing in opposite directions, joined at the neck. The hair of each head is elaborately rendered with incised parallel striations and a patterned headband or diadem across the brow. The central neck area displays a stylized columnar element with horizontal ridges connecting the two faces. The design fills the flan with bold, compact relief characteristic of small-denomination Ionian silver coinage of the early fourth century BC.
