Obverse description Head of a male figure in left profile, rendered in archaic Greek style with schematic, striated hair falling in ridges from the crown. The facial features are boldly modelled with a pronounced eye and strong jaw. The neck terminates abruptly at the lower flan edge, typical of the small module coinage of Aeolian mints circa 400 BC. The field is plain and unlettered.
