| Reverse description | Large square incuse punch divided into five compartments by a raised skew pattern of diagonal and orthogonal bars, forming an asymmetric mill-sail or windmill arrangement within the square depression. The incuse is deeply struck and occupies nearly the full surface of the reverse flan. This distinctive skew pattern is characteristic of Aeginetan fractional silver coinage of the early Classical period. |
