Obverse description Half wheat grain depicted in high relief at center, rendered as a triangular, tapering form with the sprouting end pointing upward toward the top of the flan. The design occupies the majority of the obverse field and is executed in a bold, archaic style characteristic of early Boeotian coinage. The surrounding field is flat and unadorned, consistent with the primitive fabric of this series.
