Reverse description Herakles depicted standing facing, his head turned to the right, holding a long club planted on the ground in his right hand while his left arm bears the Nemean lion's skin draped over it. The heroic figure is rendered in a sturdy, archaic-influenced style typical of Aetolian federal bronze issues, with the body in frontal stance. The field is largely plain; any ethnic inscription, if present, appears in the exergue or flanking the figure.
