| Obverse description | Forepart of a hound advancing to the left, head reverted to the right in alert posture, rendered in archaic relief typical of early Kyzikene coinage. A tunny fish, the civic badge of Kyzikos, is depicted to the right with its body oriented vertically, head upward. The design occupies the full flan, with both figures rendered in bold, stylized relief against a plain field. No inscription or legend is present. |

| Reverse description | Quadripartite incuse square, deeply struck and divided by raised ridges into four recessed compartments of roughly equal size, characteristic of early Greek electrum coinage produced by the hammered technique. The incuse design fills the entire reverse field. The four quadrants display a slightly irregular, granular texture resulting from the hammering process. No legend or additional devices are present. |
