Reverse description The reverse displays a quadripartite incuse square divided by a raised mill-sail or windmill pattern, characteristic of early archaic electrum coinage of Asia Minor. Each of the four sections exhibits a rough, granular texture produced by the punch of the lower die. The incuse is deeply struck and irregular in outline, consistent with the primitive punching technique employed at Kyzikos during the archaic period. No legend or additional device is present.
