Obverse description Tail fin of a tunny fish depicted in left profile, rendered in high relief upon a raised circular disk occupying the central field. The fish tail is rendered with bold, stylized strokes characteristic of early Archaic Greek coinage, with the forked flukes clearly delineated. The surrounding field is smooth and unadorned, with no inscription or legend present. The flan is small and irregularly shaped, typical of early electrum fractional coinage from Kyzikos.
